Pacific Rim

 As a war between humankind and gigantic sea creatures wages on, a former lead and a trainee are paired up to drive a seemingly obsolete special weapon in a desperate effort to save the world from the apocalypse.

When legions of gigantic animals, known as Kaiju, began increasing from the sea, a war began that would take an incredible number of lifestyles and eat humanity's sources for years on end. To fight the large Kaiju, a unique type of weapon was devised: large robots, known as Jaegers, which are managed at the same time by two aviators whose minds are kept in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are showing nearly helpless in the experience of the persistent Kaiju. Near beat, the causes protecting humanity have no choice but to convert to two unlikely heroes - a cleaned up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi) - who are joined to generate a famous but apparently outdated Jaeger from the past. Together, they take a position as mankind's last wish against the increasing apocalypse.
