12 Movies to Get Excited For in 2012!

Together with the minimum box office gross in 16 years, 2011 was a year the film industry would like to forget, in spite of a handful of mammoth hits.

Will 2012 turn things around? Time will inform, but there isn't any lack of thrilling films landing in theaters in the next 12 months. From action thrillers to rom-coms to 'tween fare, 2012 has it all! Having said that, here's a look at 12 movies Hollywood T20 is particularly excited for this year.

12. Men in Black 3

Be honest, thrown the eyes when you initially heard this was being created, but you're excited. Or you were just fist-pumping right away. Anyway, here they come!

11. The Bourne Legacy

Okay, we do not really value seeing this. We simply want to see if President Obama slams Jeremy Renner's performance at the White House Correspondents' dinner.

10. What to Expect When You Are Expecting

Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Glee's Matthew Morrison alllow for easily the most-hyped must-see rom-com of the new year. J. Lo does it all, baby!

9. The Avengers

Countless of your favourite Marvel superheroes a single film? America hasn't geeked out so hard since ... some other smash hit of the last five years. Still, awesome!

8. Paranormal Activity 4

The low-budget, high-earning franchise got the green light for a fourth payment due out late this year, and fans can't get enough. We're freaked out already!

7. World War Z

Fittingly, this Brad Pitt zombie-killing run is planned to occur in theaters on December 21, 2012. Eat it, Mayan apocalypse calendar doomsday (and zombies)!

6. The Hobbit

Peter Jackson profits to Middle Earth. We need not sophisticated further, particularly not after the trailer (above) raised previously high anticipation for the LOTR prequel.

5. Rock of Ages

Tom Cruise turned out he's still got his box office mojo with M:I-4. Can that translate into achievement for this hair band-era epic? We'll be increasing our lighters regardless.

4. The Dark Knight Rises

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. Badass Bane's borderline inaudible voice. Christopher Nolan's final chapter. The buzz and subplots are creating by the day.

3. Snow White and the Huntsman

Charlize Theron's the reason to observe this Kristen Stewart vehicle, although we have got high expectations for K-Stew as the title character. Simply factor she's not #1 and #2 here is ...

2. The Hunger Games

Will the adventures of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) become a new Twilight-esque book-to-film blockbuster franchise? Hard to imagine they won't. Speaking of ...

1. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2

It's difficult to imagine, but 2012 marks the final of an period for our preferred group of vampires and werewolves. Shriek in agony and pour out a little blood now.
