Selena Gomez thanks fans for support after family tragedy

Singer Selena Gomez has expressed her gratitude closer to her fans for waiting her as she dealt with her mother's miscarriage before Christmas.

The Disney singer-actress was left ruined earlier this year when her mother Mandy lost the baby she was planning on with Gomez's stepfather Brian, Contactmusic reported.

The 19-year-old star has now posted a message online thanking all the followers who sent her messages of support after the tragedy, while she also had said the baby was a girl known as Scarlett.

"Belated Merry Christmas everyone... I can't thank you enough for your ideas and prayers. We understand every one of you... I love everyone so much and we we imagine you and you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!," she published on Facebook.
