Hulk Hogan Slams 'Insane' Gay Claims by Ex-wife
Hulk Hogan has
rubbished allegations made by his ex-wife that he cheated on her with a male
wrestler Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, branding the rumours “insane”.
According to TMZ.com, Beefcake is also adamant that he never
had a gay relationship with Hogan.
Beefcake, 54, told TMZ that Linda Bollea was flat out lying
when she went on the radio back in June and said the former WWE stars engaged
in homoerotic behaviour outside the wrestling ring.
Hogan has already filed a defamation lawsuit against Bollea
last week after she accused him of being violent during their marriage and
engaging in homosexual encounters.
Hogan said that he was baffled by her claims, which were
published in her book, ‘Wrestling the Hulk - My Life Against the Ropes’.
“After the four-year crazy divorce I thought I’d heard
everything I could hear in the courtroom. Then, all of a sudden she says I
abused her, that I was violent. She told everybody that I was a homosexual,”
the Daily Express quoted Hogan as telling Us Magazine.
“If any of that was true, I would admit it, and (if) I was a
homosexual I would embrace it.
“It’s just so crazy to hear, so I have a real problem with
it... If you’re going to say I’m something that I’m not to try to ruin my
career and my livelihood... I have to answer her back.
“It’s so ridiculous. I don’t mean to laugh about it, because
it’s not funny. But it’s insane. It doesn’t make any sense to me,” he said.
Beefcake also plans to follow Hogan’s lead, and has already
instructed his attorney to draft up the lawsuit, which he claims he will file
in the very near future.
“I’ve known [Linda] for almost 40 years ... but when she
starts trying to ruin our careers, it just aint fair,” Beefcake said.
“Hulk is a tremendous person ... a great man who deserves to
be happy,” he added.
