Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - Official Trailer 2 [HD]

The first trailer for Stephen Daldry‘s revision of Jonathan Safran Foer‘s novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close tried to live in the part between original, attractive and romantic. The sense of balance didn’t work for me, mainly thanks to the trust on U2 as the score for the trailer. As a effect I think that first gaze at the movie nailed it as little more than overly sweet Oscar bait.

Now there is a new trailer that goes orthodox for the soppiness by opening with the character played by Tom Hanks calling his wife, played by Sandra Bullock, from one of the high floors of the World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11. From there, the trailer swirls into petty portraits of several of the film’s characters and conditions as it follows that couple’s son (newcomer Thomas Horn) through the choppy days that follow 9/11, but there still isn’t much description of the story. Check out for yourself...

This trailer doesn’t give a drift for me than the first one did, but I still reflect there is a decent movie in here. I see gleams of performances and communications between the characters that make me want to watch the movie, even if the promotion focus is on the major, most effortlessly saleable moments.
