Naomi Watts, Matt Dillon Working Together for 'Sunlight Jr.'
Naomi Watts and Matt Dillon have
contracted to star in the forthcoming indie dramaSunlight Jr., from Sherrybaby writer/director Laurie
Collyer.
Watts will play a reliable convenience-store clerk, while Dillon will star as her paraplegic boyfriend. For the first time in a long period, things are looking up for the couple, as Watts' Melissa is pregnant -- nevertheless the enthusiasm turns to gloom when she loses her job and flat.
Watts was just seen in the actioner Dream House and will perform conspicuously in next week's J. Edgar. Dillon, in the meantime, hasn't been received from since last year's Takers but has a number of high-profile projects due for announcement in 2012.
